Psalms 147:9

He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

God supplies wild creatures with nourishment, furnishing food for beasts and for ravens, even the unfledged young when they cry for it. This feeding of the crying young ravens displays the divine life that permeates nature and upholds all things in existence.

That same care for animals gives assurance that He can endow people with wisdom, skill, and inventiveness to prepare healthful food for the needy. The One who feeds the ravens and numbers the hairs of human heads does not forget people in peril, but watches over those at sea and safeguards them by His own care and by heavenly angels.
