Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
The verse summons all angels and all the heavenly hosts to praise God. Their praise belongs to a chorus of all creation summoned to honor the Most High, a song of praise that also calls the sun, moon, and stars to praise the Lord. That universal call to praise rebukes people endowed with intelligence who yet do not proclaim God's majesty and glory.
