For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
The Lord alone is God, and there is no one besides Him who is the Rock, the only true rock. His surroundings in the psalm present Him as perfect and trustworthy, whose way is perfect and whose word is tested, as the protector who gives strength and deliverance. He alone is the sure refuge and strength of those who trust in Him. This truth calls a person to turn away from resentment toward God and toward trust in Him.
