Psalms 18:48
He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
God rescued David from his enemies, lifted him above those who rose up against him, and delivered him from the violent man. His deliverances in war came through the providence of God working in his behalf. The dangers that threatened destruction to the nation itself became the means by which it was raised to greatness and power.
