Psalms 22:24
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
God does not despise nor abhor the suffering and affliction of the afflicted. He does not hide His face from him, nor reject him and turn away from him. When the afflicted cries unto Him, He hears.
The verse teaches trust in God. It teaches seeking Him for understanding and for guidance of individual duty. That seeking is to be in place of depending on an erring person as guide, placing confidence in another person to direct one's duty.
