All the ends of the earth will remember the Lord and turn to Him, and all the kindreds of the nations will worship before Him. This turning embraces people from every nation, even to the farthest reaches of the world. The events of Christ's crucifixion were to bring this remembering, turning, and worshiping to pass among people across the world.
It is God's plan and purpose that salvation reach every nation. No nation lies beyond His mercy, for all are meant to share in the blessings of salvation and in the knowledge of God. Witnesses carrying the news of Christ's death prompted both Jews and Gentiles to search the Scriptures and to recognize in those events the fulfillment of prophecy.
