The voice of the LORDis powerful; the voice of the LORDis full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord carries might and majesty. In its setting that might is heard in thunder rolling over the waters, in breaking the cedars of Lebanon, and in making the mountains move. It is further seen in dividing the flames and in shaking the wilderness, displaying divine power and glory.
The glory of God fills the heavens. For that reason people are to speak of Him with reverence. They are to keep silence before His holy presence.
