David Hurries Along a Cliff Away from Saulby emmanuel_higgins

Psalms 31:15

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

To say that times are in God's hand is to say that every season of life rests in His hand, including times of helplessness and sickness and old age and even the end of life itself. Those who entrust their times to Him are never left alone, for He stays continually present with them. Such trust brings faith and hope and cheerful courage, joined with love for Jesus as the blessed Redeemer. In Him are found light in His light and joy in His joy and peace in His peace and mercy in His mercy and love in His love, awakening a longing to see the Saviour face to face and then to be fully satisfied.
