Psalms 37:28

The Lord loves justice and will not abandon His faithful people. He keeps His saints and preserves them forever. That preservation is sure because it rests on His own love of right.
With that assurance goes the promise that He upholds the righteous even when they stumble. Their falling does not mean they are forsaken, for His hand holds them up. By this upholding He marks a clear distinction between the righteous and the wicked.
