Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
God does not eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats offered to Him, for the sacrifices presented to Him meet no want or hunger in Himself. Every living creature and the whole earth are already His own, so nothing given in sacrifice adds to what He possesses. Rather than feeding Him, His people are to offer thanksgiving, pay their vows to Him, and call upon Him in the day of trouble.
