Psalms 50:22

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

The verse calls those who forget God to pause and weigh His rebuke and coming judgment. If they keep on in wickedness they will be torn in pieces with no one able to rescue them, for their sin brings judgment that leaves them without a deliverer. That danger covers hidden wrongs and sharing in the sins of others. God watches those acts, will bring them to reckoning in judgment, and summons the sinner to recognize the peril and turn back.

The call is urgent in the time of judgment, pressing for repentance and conversion while sins can still be blotted out, before destruction arrives with none to deliver. The verse also sets forth the greatness of God against all forgetfulness of Him. Those who forget Him and labor on Satan's side suffer a fearful loss. At the last great day those devoted to anarchy and war and strife will see how many souls were lost because they refused to place themselves under the rule of Christ.
