Psalms 63:11
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
The mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped because God will shortly silence every falsehood, misrepresentation, and slander spread against His people. Jesus knows all these false charges brought against the faithful. At the coming of Christ all will be judged according to the deeds done in the body, when sinners in Zion will be afraid and fearfulness will surprise the hypocrites.
God's people must therefore not come down to answer lies, but must arouse and put on the armor. They are to dwell upon present truth and give themselves wholly to the great work of the last message of mercy. Satan designs these lying attacks to divert minds from present truth and from the coming of Christ.
