Psalms 66:20

Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.

Blessed be God because He heard the speaker's prayer, the cry and voice of the mouth, and did not turn that prayer away nor turn away or withdraw His mercy from him. A heart free of cherished iniquity may trust with confidence that God so attends to prayer. For thus hearing prayer and continuing mercy, God is to be blessed with a full soul by those who enjoy His love, with praise and thanksgiving spoken by mouth and tongue.

Answered prayer with mercy continued is to be openly declared as what God has done for the soul, and this declaring is the privilege and language of every soul who fears God. This declaration is spoken when meeting together to worship, with kindness and tenderheartedness, with death to self, with the interests of the soul held fast, and with the blessed light shown to others. There it bears full testimony to God and the Redeemer while expecting marked results from prayer.

Through His servants as co-workers with Christ speaking with human lips, this extolling testimony sends the message of truth forward like a burning lamp. So His blessing, shining face, way, and saving health become known on earth among all nations.
