They include lovingkindness and tender mercy, redemption itself and immortal blessings, even the warnings, reproofs and appeals sent through His messengers. Such daily gifts call for praise continually on the lips and acknowledgment with thanksgiving, for trust, and for a deepened obligation to serve and glorify God in every part of life.
They are not to be held for selfish possession but to be shared with others to glorify Him. Valuing salvation awakens gratitude, and that gratitude brings daily refreshment, the protection and love of Jesus, and guidance in the way of peace.
