Psalms 68:22

The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

The psalm is prophetic of Christ in His triumph. Its dominant note is triumph. The verse shares in that celebration of God's victory and deliverance.

The verse promises that God will bring His people back from death, pictured as bringing them again from Bashan and from the depths of the sea. This is the ground of hope that the dead will be raised, or undergo an equivalent change. That bringing back from death is the resurrection connected with Christ's second advent.

The psalm is a latter-day prophecy to be fulfilled in the closing time. It applies especially to the remnant church during the closing work of the third angel's message.
