Psalms 68:25
The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
The verse stands within the Psalms, which form a collection of praises and songs set to music. That collection served as Israel's hymn book for worship. Its songs were arranged in parts for use in temple worship. Within that collection the verse belongs to a paean of victory, a triumphal song that prophesies Christ in His triumph.
