Psalms 68:27
There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
In its immediate setting the verse names little Benjamin with its ruler, the princes of Judah with their council, and the princes of Zebulun and Naphtali as represented in the procession bringing the ark to Jerusalem. In that procession the ark was carried by Levites on their shoulders in keeping with the prescribed order. The verse expresses thankfulness for deliverance from trials as part of a song of victory. That song was given by the inspiration of the Spirit of Christ, who is the greater David. It is prophetic of Christ in His triumph.
The psalm's prophecy belongs to the latter days and applies especially to the remnant church in the closing work of the third angel's message. It is to be fulfilled in the same period as the promised restoration of Isaiah 58.
