Man Falls into the Pit He Dugby emmanuel_higgins

Psalms 7:16

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

Evil words and actions turn back upon the person who aims them at others. Curses and even blasphemous prayer uttered against others recoil upon the head of the one who utters them. This was seen when a woman cursed her daughter and her daughter-in-law and prayed blasphemously against them, and the evil recoiled on her own head when she fell suddenly ill and died within a few weeks.

Harm and trouble plotted against others rebound upon the plotter. The Lord makes the devices and bitter enmity of those who spread lies return upon their own heads. Wrongdoing rests at last upon the one responsible for it. If George overcomes the sins that Satan led him to commit, those sins fall on Satan's own head, while Satan works to overthrow George so that the transgressions will instead rest on George's own head.
