Psalms 77:10

And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

David's confession of infirmity is an acknowledgment that his gloomy conclusions about God sprang from his own weakness, ignorance, and frailty, and not from any alteration in the divine character. From that admission he makes a deliberate break with those false impressions, choosing instead to recall God's former works and mighty acts. That act of remembering restores his faith and confidence in God's mercy and faithfulness.
