I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
To call to remembrance a song in the night is to find comfort in God in the midst of affliction. The night is the time of trouble, and the song is the comfort that comes from turning to God then. That comfort and hope and salvation are found in Christ, who is Himself the song remembered in the night.
