Psalms 83:10

Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

The verse belongs to Jehoshaphat's prayer in the temple court when the children of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir came to cast Judah out of the possession given to the seed of Abraham forever. It was offered when Judah had no might before a great company and did not know what to do, with eyes upon God. In that helplessness the prayer pleads God's rule in heaven over all the kingdoms of the heathen with power and might none can withstand, His driving out the inhabitants before Israel, and His promise to hear and help when evil as sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine brings them before the house where His name is to cry in affliction.

It asks God to judge the invaders who were rewarding Israel with destruction after Israel had turned from them and did not destroy them when coming out of Egypt. It asks God to defeat the enemies conspiring against Israel as He defeated enemies in the past, recalling the defeat of Midian and of Sisera and Jabin as grounds for confounding the present coalition and making His supremacy known.
