Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
God's salvation is near at hand and is revealed to those who love Him and fear Him. Keeping the fear of the Lord continually before the mind brings His love into the heart and makes His peace an abiding presence within. Keeping the way of the Lord in the household and in every path of life is the condition for prospering, in order that glory may dwell in the land. The salvation thus revealed to those who fear Him is not to be kept to themselves but is to be communicated to others.
