Psalms 92:4

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

The verse belongs to a song of praise that gives thanks for God's lovingkindness and faithfulness. Through His work the Lord makes the speaker glad, giving reason to triumph in what He has made and done with His hands. The greatness of His works and the depth of His thoughts inspire the song. The works of creation reveal God's power and wisdom.

This gladness and triumph are open to all who receive God's word through nature and revelation. Seeing God's works brings gladness and confidence in Him. The Sabbath keeps these works in remembrance by turning the mind to nature and to communion with the Creator. His power in creation brings comfort, because the word that made all things also gives life to the soul.
