Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
Exaltation and worship belong to the Lord as God at His holy hill because He is holy. The call is to lift Him high and bow before Him in the place set apart for His presence, with His holiness as the reason for that reverence. Human beings were made to express His thought and to reveal His glory, yet that high purpose gives no ground for self-exaltation. No person is to lift self up as God, for worshipful exaltation is due to Him alone.
