Seven Angels Carrying Golden Bowls From the Templeby unapologeticallyadventist

Revelation 15:6

And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

This verse belongs to the prophecies of Revelation 12 to 18 that are being fulfilled now. Its fulfillment is part of the last message of warning that all are to hear. As part of Revelation 15, it is to be read and meditated upon together with the blessing on the dead in the Lord and the reaping of the harvest of the earth in Revelation 14:13-20.

The seven angels are ministers of vengeance commissioned by Jehovah of Hosts, the Lord God Almighty, the Just, the True, and the Holy to execute His judgments in pouring out the vials of the wrath of God. They go forth clothed in pure white linen with their breasts girded with golden girdles, asking no questions but doing as they are bid with unswerving fidelity.

Their coming out of the temple and the pouring out of the seven plagues happen after Jesus finishes His work in the sanctuary and leaves it. Before the plagues are poured out, Jesus passes out of the sanctuary to the door, confesses the sins of Israel upon the head of the scapegoat, puts on the garments of vengeance, and takes His seat upon the great white cloud, which is entirely separate from the holy place and most holy place. The coming out means intercession has ceased, with no man, no intercessor and no mediator between God and man, so the plagues can be withheld no longer.

The wrath of God and the Lamb in those plagues is poured upon the wicked and causes their destruction and death, which those not covered have nothing to shelter them from and so feel. While the plagues are falling the scapegoat is being led away and the saints live in God's sight without a mediator, covered with the covering of Almighty God. When their task is done and the last vial of God's wrath is poured out, the angels return and lay their emptied vials at the feet of the Lord.
