Seven Angels Carrying Golden Bowls From the Templeby unapologeticallyadventist

Revelation 15:7

And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

The verse belongs to the prophecies of Revelation 12 to 18 that are being fulfilled. It follows the blessing on those who die in the Lord and the vision of One like the Son of man on a white cloud with a golden crown and a sharp sickle reaping when the harvest of the earth is ripe, and the whole harvest vision of Revelation 14:13-20 together with Revelation 15 is present truth to be meditated upon. It belongs to the last warning message that all are to hear before the very last call to the churches in Revelation 18 and the destruction of the beast, the false prophet, the dragon, and all the wicked, followed by the triumph and reign of Christ.

It follows the first, second, and third angels' messages, which the church is summoned to proclaim and explain with zeal and determination through diligent study of the Scriptures. One of the four living creatures gives to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, as part of the great and marvelous sign in heaven of seven angels having the seven last plagues in which the wrath of God is filled up. The seven angels come out of the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony, clothed in pure white linen with their breasts girded with golden girdles, to receive the vials.

The vials are given and poured only after Jesus finishes His work in the sanctuary and leaves it. After confessing the sins of Israel upon the head of the scapegoat at the door of the tabernacle, He puts on the garments of vengeance and takes His seat upon the great white cloud, entirely separate from the holy and most holy. After the vials are given the temple is filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, with the train of the Father's glory shed down upon the ark from above the cherubim, and no one is able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels are fulfilled. This is because there is then no man and no intercessor and no mediator between God and man since Jesus has ceased to plead for Israel, so the plagues can be withheld no longer. The pouring out is the wrath of God and the Lamb bringing destruction and death upon the wicked: those covered with the covering of the Almighty live in His sight through that time, while those not covered have nothing to shelter them and feel the plagues.
