Romans 10:12
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
There is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is over all and is rich in grace and generous to everyone who calls on him. His saving grace and offer of salvation are not limited by people, background, age, rank, nationality, or religion, but extend to all nations, kindreds, tongues, and peoples. Calling on the Lord is the way of salvation through faith in Christ, so whoever calls on him can be saved and receive the light of the knowledge of Jesus Christ, in which is life eternal.
No one can call without believing, believe without hearing, or hear without a preacher sent to preach the gospel of peace. The verse therefore lays a great missionary work on Christians and churches united with one another and with divine power under the Holy Spirit, to pray for and send laborers into the plenteous harvest and carry the good tidings of God's grace as a light to the Gentiles and to those who have not heard, for salvation to the ends of the earth.
The same grace that came from Jesus Christ to Paul and Apollos and distinguished them for spiritual excellencies can be reproduced and brought into working order in many devoted missionaries, and people of every background who receive it can, like Paul and Barnabas, be equipped for devoted service, for God will communicate with those who deny self and lift the cross just as verily as he did with them. Holy and devout men and women should therefore cultivate mental and physical powers and piety to the uttermost and be ordained and sent forth as medical missionaries and intelligent workers to untried fields, instead of folding hands and expecting the work committed to them to be done by proxy. The Lord's richness toward all who call on him in faith includes working for them, helping the weak, doubting, and struggling, repaying service in the gospel, and supplying the needs of those who serve him.
