Romans 10:18

But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

The going of sound into all the earth is the going of the report of tent labor far and near beyond the place where it is done. The sound concerning the city of tents spreads outward and awakens wonderful and widespread interest.

That outgoing report prepares other towns to be entered, for a largely attended camp meeting sends its influence and its report into the surrounding country. In this way a place like Williamstown is made ready for tent labor, with large attendance, invitations into homes, and a deep and growing interest even where there is not yet one believer. The hope is that a church may be raised up there. Because that interest has awakened and doors stand open, now is the time to use every workman to fill the calls and enter those openings for missionary effort.

The verse also means that gospel light spreads and leads people on from point to point. Those who learned that immortality is only in Christ and were excluded from the Methodist church for that belief then have the Sabbath and other points of Bible truth unfolded to them. They become convicted and are led on until they accept the whole truth.
