Romans 15:9

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

The Gentiles glorify God because of His mercy toward them. That mercy moves them to confess and praise Him among the nations. Their glorifying is expressed by confessing God among the Gentiles and singing praise to His name.

Christ's ministry to the circumcised confirms God's promises made to the fathers, while the Gentiles receive mercy. In its setting in Romans 15:8-10, the Gentiles rejoice with God's people. In the closing days converted Jews are joining the people of God as the Israel of God.

God's people are to reflect divine truth in words and works. They let their light shine by good works that lead others to glorify the Father and can bring them salvation. That witness must be free of quarreling and backbiting.

Gentiles won to Christ by earnest labor to win souls glorify God for His mercy and sing to His name. Heavenly intelligences stand close beside every person laboring earnestly to win souls, so that those souls may in turn glorify God. When souls are converted, both the worker and those worked for glorify God. This rejoices God's heart of love because the heavenly intelligences have found channels through which to communicate the riches of Christ's mercy and grace.
