Romans 9:26
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
The very place where a people had been told they were not God's people becomes the place where they are named children of the living God. Those once left uncounted are brought in and given a living sonship rather than mere outward standing. This calling embraces Gentiles as well as Israelites, so that divine grace is shown reaching both alike.
