Romans 9:27

Though the children of Israel become as countless as sand by the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved. Israel endures solely because the Lord of hosts preserves a seed alive within it, for without that preserving act it would have been made altogether like Sodom and left as Gomorrah. The Lord will finish His work, cutting it short and bringing it to its completion in righteousness. He is able to transform the hearts of Jews and Gentiles alike, and to bestow upon every believer in Christ the blessings promised to Israel.
