Titus 2:9

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

Servants are to be obedient to their own masters, to seek to please them well in every matter, and not to answer back. That obedience is inseparable from honesty in service, refusing to steal and instead showing all good faithfulness. By such obedient and faithful conduct servants adorn in all things the teaching about God their Savior.

This instruction belongs within sober-minded, upright Christian conduct called for because the end of all things is at hand, standing together with sound doctrine, gravity, sincerity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned. Such faithful living puts opposers to shame, leaving them with nothing evil to say. This obedience is not carried out in finite human strength but by being strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, resisting the enemy rather than being seduced by him.
