Zechariah 10:7
And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD. The promise describes what takes place when everyone receives the showers of the latter rain from heaven. All who receive those showers bring forth fruit in rich abundance and are made like a mighty man. Their heart is gladdened as if by wine and rejoices in the LORD, a gladness their children behold and share with glad hearts of their own.
This is the LORD manifesting His mercy and goodness and power toward His people by undertaking for them and granting grace to succeed where they could not succeed by themselves. Its fulfillment calls for hope and faith and love to be cultivated in the church, for faith is weak and hope is feeble and love is almost dead. A great change must be wrought before its members love one another as Christ loves.
