Zephaniah 3:11

In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

The verse sets forth a future condition given as a warning, to follow God's gathering of the nations and assembling of the kingdoms to pour out upon them His indignation and fierce anger until all the earth is devoured with the fire of His jealousy. In that day His people will no longer be put to shame for all their deeds by which they transgressed against Him. This freedom from shame comes because He will take away from their midst those who rejoice in pride, so that they will never again be haughty on account of His holy mountain. With the proud thus removed, those who remain will be an afflicted and poor people who trust in the name of the Lord. They will be given a pure language to call upon Him and to serve Him with one united consent, becoming a remnant that does no iniquity and speaks no lies.
