Zephaniah 3:2

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

The verse describes the world in the last days as refusing to listen to the divine voice and rejecting correction. It portrays that final generation as failing to place trust in the Lord and refusing to draw near to God. This fourfold condition of disobedience, unteachableness, distrust, and distance from God reveals the spirit now prevailing in the world. That present prevalence stands as a fulfillment of what Scripture prophesied would come.
