Understanding the Heavenly Trio and the Godhead
Who are the three highest powers pledged to your success at baptism?
How did Ellen White portray and define God the Father and the only begotten Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ? Is it true that God is the Father of Christ; and Christ is the only begotten Son of God? Is it true that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and Spirit of Christ, the soul of Christ's life, and also refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter?

It is the absolute truth that the Father is the personal God of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Christ is His only-begotten Son, while the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and the Spirit of both the Father and the Son. The Godhead consists of three living persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are the three highest powers in the universe.
The Father and the Only-Begotten Son
A Divine Relationship: God is the Father of Christ, and Christ is the only-begotten Son of God 1 John 4:10.
The Sacrifice of the Father: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit gave themselves to the working out of the plan of redemption for the fallen race.
Equal in Divinity: In Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, yet He always sought the will of His Father Colossians 2:9John 5:30.
Express Image: The Son was sent to reveal the Father to the world, for he that has seen the Son has seen the Father 1 John 2:23.
The Holy Spirit: The Third Person of the Godhead
The Heavenly Trio: There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—believers are baptized.
The Representative of Christ: The Holy Spirit is the Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended, making manifest the power of divine grace to all who believe.
The Spirit of God and Christ: The Father gave His Son so that through the Son the Holy Spirit might come to us and lead us back to the Father.
The Fullness of the Godhead: The Comforter is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead, acting with no modified energy but in the fullness of divine power to restrain evil.
The Office Work of the Comforter
Christ’s Presence through the Spirit: Christ is near His people by His Holy Spirit; there is no day or hour when He is not near those who labor in His name Matthew 28:20.
The Soul of Life: Sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit, which is the implanting of Christ’s nature in humanity, making the believer a partaker of the divine nature.
The Agency of Intercession: Through this divine agency, we have the spirit of intercession, whereby we may plead with God as a man pleads with his friend Romans 8:26.
An Impregnable Wall: Those who give themselves unreservedly to God are barricaded by an impregnable wall, supported by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Our Covenant Relation at Baptism
The Threefold Name: Baptism is administered in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28:19.
The Pledged Efficiency: At the entrance of the Christian life, these three great powers pledge to be the strength and efficiency of the believer.
The Three Holiest Beings: Those born unto God stand under the sanction and power of the three holiest beings in heaven, who are able to keep them from falling.
A Living Witness: Through the fellowship of the Father and the Son, the Christian grows in spirituality and becomes a living witness for the Master. 🙏
