Overcoming Anger Through Self-Control and Faith
Can mastering silence and your diet actually help you conquer anger?
How do i not create anger in my heart?

To prevent anger from taking root in your heart, you must practice constant self-control and maintain a close, daily connection with Christ to subdue your natural impulses. Controlling your own spirit is a greater achievement than conquering a city Proverbs 16:32.
Cultivate Self-Control Through Christ
Lean on Divine Strength: You cannot manage your passions through human wisdom alone, but must rely on the grace of God to transform your character.
Daily Learning: Make it your daily study to learn the meekness and lowliness of Christ so that "self" is hidden in Him.
Immediate Resistance: When provoked, decide immediately not to speak "hot, fiery words," remembering that Jesus is by your side.
The Power of Silence: If someone speaks passionately to you, choose to remain silent; this causes the fire of anger to die out quickly.
Guard the Mind and Body
Watch Your Diet: Avoid irritating foods, spices, and stimulants, as they inflame the stomach and lead to nervous debility, impatience, and a lack of self-control.
Physical Habits: Ensure your living spaces have fresh air and sunlight, as ill-ventilated rooms can leave you feeling feverish and exhausted, making it harder to maintain a calm spirit.
Think Pure Thoughts: Keep your mind focused on heavenly things to allow the Holy Spirit to soften and subdue your heart.
Practice Right Relations with Others
Avoid Fault-Finding: Refrain from watching others to pick at their flaws or expose their errors, as this habit cultivates a spirit of bitterness.
A Soft Answer: Use gentle words to turn away wrath and exert a good influence on those around you Proverbs 15:1.
Correct in Love: If you are a parent or leader, never correct others while you are angry, as this only encourages a passionate temper in them.
Seek Forgiveness: If you do wrong, humble yourself quickly and ask for forgiveness, for you must not let the sun go down upon your wrath Ephesians 4:26.
By making a thorough change in your life and denying worldly lusts, you can live soberly and righteously in this present world Titus 2:12-14. Seek righteousness and meekness daily so that you may be hid in the day of the Lord's anger Zephaniah 2:2-3.
