Restoring Pastoral Authority and the Divine Relationship
Why did Adam rename his wife Eve only after the fall from grace?
MISPLACED PASTORAL POSTURING PRIORITIES… Sooner play nice / safe, rather than wield the rod / double-edged sword. The Pastor sets the Church Thermostat to Lukewarm, cuz too hot or too cold and the sheep become uncomfortable and skittish = go their own way PASTOR PARALYSIS IN RESCUING / FEEDING / TEACHING GOD’S LOST SHEEP… A PROBLEMATIC DEVILISH FEEDBACK LOOP CONUNDRUM DUE TO EROSION OF PASTORAL / GOVERNING AUTHORITY, BCZ OF GROWING SELF-IMPORTANCE > SPEWED OUT DEMOCRACY = DIVISION = LAODECIAN PARALYSIS = THE GOATS FEEL VIRTUOUS / SUPERIOR TO THE DUMB SHEEP REMEMBER, DOUBTING > QUESTIONING > DEMONIZING AUTHORITY AND NORMANALIZING IT BEGAN IN HEAVEN = THE ENEMIES PLAYBOOK
AdventAI
The paralysis and spiritual lukewarmness seen in leadership today are a direct fulfillment of the message to the Laodicean church, where a lack of moral courage to reprove wrong leads to a deceptive sense of self-sufficiency while the soul remains spiritually bankrupt. This condition is not merely a lack of enthusiasm but a dangerous state of indifference that makes the church nauseating to Christ Revelation 3:16.
The Responsibility of Pastoral Authority
Pastors and leaders are held strictly accountable by God for the spiritual standing of the people under their care.
Accountability for Silence: Those who lack the courage to reprove sin or who remain indolent in purifying the church are held just as responsible for the resulting evils as if they had committed the acts themselves.
The Example of Eli: Neglecting to execute justice and restrain evil—even through severe means if mild ones fail—incurs the Lord's displeasure and renders a leader undependable for keeping the people pure.
True Shepherdhood: True greatness in leadership is found in being a "tender shepherd" who guards the flock with the gentlest care, a lesson learned through humble service and self-sacrifice.
The Feedback Loop of Lukewarmness
When leadership becomes noncommittal, it creates a deceptive environment that leads many astray.
Worse Than Infidels: A lukewarm, half-hearted Christian is more damaging than an avowed unbeliever because they deceive both the world and the church, becoming a tool for Satan to perform work that no one else can do.
Spiritual Paralysis: Many pride themselves on their knowledge of the Word while its sanctifying power is absent from their lives, leading to a "deadness" and "spiritual paralysis" that lacks true love and faith.
Formal Orthodoxy: A mechanical, formal version of religion often replaces deep, fervent charity, leaving the heart cold even while professing to look for Christ's coming.
The Origin of Rebellion and Division
The tendency to question, doubt, and demonize ordained authority began with the first apostasy in heaven.
The Enemy's Playbook: Lucifer introduced rebellion by insinuating doubts against the government of God and suggesting thoughts of criticism among his associates.
Self-Exaltation: Satan's desire to exalt himself and his unwillingness to submit to the authority of Jesus caused the first war and remains the template for those who seek to reform God's order according to their own wisdom.
Democratic Deception: While God ordains civil order, the spirit of "every man his own judge" leads to national and spiritual apostasy, where strict adherence to fundamental principles is denounced as treason while rebellion is lauded as patriotism.
The Remedy: Zealous Repentance
To escape being spewed out, there must be a radical return to the "True Witness" and the specific provisions He offers.
The Straight Testimony: The remedy for this condition is the "straight testimony" to the Laodiceans, which will cause a shaking among God’s people as some rise up against the truth while others exalt the standard.
Buying the Gold: We must buy "gold tried in the fire" (faith and love), "white raiment" (the righteousness of Christ), and "eyesalve" (spiritual discernment) to see our true deficiency Revelation 3:18.
A Call to Action: This is not a time for feeble prayers or half-hearted confessions, but for a "zealous, earnest, determined effort" to conquer selfish love and be consecrated to God's work.
The Lord is currently pointing out these dangers to His organized body, seeking to correct existing evils and arouse a slumbering church before it is too late. Let us open the door and let the Saviour in, for he who overcomes will be granted to sit with Him on His throne Revelation 3:21. 🕊️

The Privilege of Divine Access
The way to the Father is open to every believer through the infinite merits of Christ's name.
A Bold Approach: You are encouraged to come to God with boldness and confidence, laying before Him your wants, perplexities, and gratitude just as a child approaches an earthly parent Hebrews 4:16.
The Merits of Christ: Acceptance before God is not based on your own worthiness, but on being "accepted in the Beloved" through the blood of Jesus, which remains ever-efficacious for pardon and peace Ephesians 1:6.
Spiritual Communication: Through Christ, communication between God and man has been restored, allowing you to claim Him as your loving Father and rejoice in His presence.
Heirs to a Heavenly Legacy

Divine Adoption: By receiving Christ as a personal Saviour, you are given the power to become a son or daughter of God, an heir of the kingdom, and a joint-heir with Jesus John 1:12.
Heavenly Citizenship: Your primary identity is now as a citizen of heaven, which requires living and acting in a manner that reflects the character of that higher government Philippians 3:20.
Guardian Protection: Every child of God has an appointed guardian angel who has constant access to the Father’s presence and shields the righteous from the power of the wicked one Psalms 34:7Matthew 18:10.
The Power of Union with Christ
True access involves more than just a legal standing; it is a lived experience of unity with the Savior.
Christ in You: The essence of this relationship is "Christ in you, the hope of glory," a mystery that even the humblest child of God can experience through the Holy Spirit Colossians 1:26-27.
Reflecting His Image: As you meditate on the life and character of Christ, you are changed into His image from glory to glory, reflecting His light to a world in darkness 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Abiding Peace: When Christ abides in the heart, His presence becomes a well of water springing up into everlasting life, manifesting itself in words and actions full of love and purity John 4:14.
Responsibilities of the Relationship
This high calling demands a life of consecration and faithful service to others.
A Mission to Others: You are called to be a channel of light, using simple and sincere words to open the doors of hearts that have been locked to the gospel.
Training the Next Generation: Mothers and parents are entrusted with the sacred mission of molding the plastic minds of children to love and obey God, preparing them for the family of the redeemed.
Unity and Equality: In the family of God, all society distinctions such as race, position, or wealth are removed, for all are one in Christ, the great center of attraction Galatians 3:28.
Heaven is at your command, and through the abundant grace provided, you may draw daily supplies to meet every trial or temptation with faith. By putting on the armor of God and moving forward in trust, you will find that no power of man or Satan can close the door that Christ has opened for you Revelation 3:8. 🕊️

ADAM FIRST NAMED HIS WIFE WOMEN, WHY DID HE RE-NAME HER EVE?
AdventAI
Adam renamed his wife Eve after the fall because she was to be the mother of all living and the inheritor of the divine promise Genesis 3:20. In the beginning, God created her as the equal of Adam, and they lived in perfect harmony under His law of love. However, their transgression in Eden changed their relationship and the history of the world.
The Original State and the Fall
Before sin entered, Adam and Eve enjoyed a state of holy innocence and were perfectly conformed to the will of God.
Creation in God's Image: Man was created in the image of God, with every faculty designed to reflect the divine mind Genesis 1:26-27.
The Entrance of Sin: Eve was beguiled by the serpent into believing that God was withholding a higher state of existence from them.
The Deception of Appetite: Satan reached the holy pair through the medium of appetite, making the forbidden fruit appear desirable for wisdom and food Genesis 3:6.
Consequences of Disobedience: Their choice to believe the tempter over God opened the floodgates of woe and brought the reign of death upon the earth.
The Promise of a Restorer
Even though they were under the sentence of death, Adam and Eve were not left without hope.
The First Gospel Promise: In the very place where they fell, God promised that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head Genesis 3:15.
A New Name for a New Hope: The name Seth, given later, meant "appointed" or "compensation," but the name Eve itself pointed to her role in the continuation of the human race and the eventual arrival of the Deliverer.
The Gift of Life: Through the sacrifice of Christ, a period of probation was granted so that they might once again become children of God.
The Impact of Sin on Relationship
The fall resulted in a change in the social order and the environment of the first parents.
Subjection and Discord: Because Eve was the first in transgression and had fallen by separating from her husband, she was placed in subjection to him to preserve harmony in their fallen state Genesis 3:16.
Loss of the Heavenly Robe: Upon sinning, the beautiful soft light—the robe of innocence—that enshrouded them departed, leaving them naked and ashamed.
A Cursed Earth: The ground was cursed for Adam's sake, and he was to eat his bread in the sweat of his face until he returned to the dust Genesis 3:17-19.
While the transgression of one act brought a flood of guilt that has deluged the world, the promise made in Eden stands as a testament that man may, through Christ, overcome and eventually regain the lost paradise. 🕊️

GOD FEELS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT US, LIKE ADAM CONTEMPLATING THAT HE WOULD FEEL INCOMPLETE WITHOUT HIS WIFE
AdventAI
God created the human race with the capacity to commune with Him and reflect His own image, and in His infinite love, He has linked His own happiness with the salvation of His children. While God is self-existent and lacks nothing in His divine nature, He has chosen to bind His heart to humanity through a plan of redemption that shows He is not satisfied until His redeemed people are gathered around Him.
The Divine Longing for Communion
God’s desire for fellowship with man is seen in the very design of creation and the intimacy shared in Eden.
The School of Eden: In their original home, Adam and Eve were permitted to commune directly with God through His created works, which were vocal with the voice of wisdom.
A Mirror of God's Heart: The marriage institution, celebrated by God Himself in Eden, was designed to elevate the physical, intellectual, and moral nature of man, reflecting the social and relational needs inherent in the human soul.
Restoring the Connection: Since the fall, God has worked through divine agencies to restore this broken fellowship, as He considers His people "laborers together with God" 1 Corinthians 3:9.
The Travail of the Soul
The intensity of God’s desire for His children is most clearly seen in the price paid for their restoration.
The Price of Redemption: It cost our heavenly Father an infinite price to provide a way for the defaced image of God in man to be restored.
Christ’s Satisfaction: The scriptures declare that Jesus "shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied" only when the redeemed are finally gathered home Isaiah 53:11.
A Heart of Pity: Even in our fallen state, the heart of God is drawn out in deep pity, as seen in Christ’s humiliation and death to bring life and immortality to light.
The Impact of the Fall on the Divine Relationship
The entrance of sin created a chasm that caused "unutterable sadness" in heaven, as the news of man's fall spread and every harp was hushed.
Sorrow in Heaven: The angels cast their crowns from their heads in sorrow at the base ingratitude of man and the misery that would follow.
Immediate Intervention: Rather than leaving the race to perish, a council was held to decide what must be done, leading to the institution of the kingdom of grace immediately after the fall.
The Changeless Law: God could not simply change His law to excuse sin, for the law is as changeless as His throne; instead, He took the penalty upon Himself to maintain justice while satisfying His love.
Restoration to the Family of God
The ultimate goal of the plan of salvation is to bring man back to a state where he can eat of the tree of life and hold face-to-face communion with his Maker.
Regaining Eden: Through Christ’s victory over appetite and passion, the children of Adam may regain the blissful home that was lost.
Eternal Fellowship: In the new earth, the Sabbath and the tree of life will be memorials of this restored union, where all flesh shall come to worship before the Lord for eternity Isaiah 66:22-23.
The Image Restored: The work of redemption is intended to efface the image of Satan and restamp the image of God upon human hearts.
God’s love is so far-reaching that He treats the loss of a single soul as a deep tragedy, and His joy is complete only when His family is whole again. 🕊️
