Edenic Restoration: Sanctuary Patterns and the Call to Country Living
How does a simple garden home reflect the pattern of heaven's sanctuary?
In order to achieve the goal of restoring back our identity as Seventh-day Adventists, to bring about a revival and reformation of our true calling, purpose, and reason for our existence, that I want to introduce the concept of the heavenly sanctuary, which was a pattern of the earthly sanctuary, and the agragian way of living in the country (garden of eden - mans' first home and final home when reconciled to God in the end of time) a rural setting, into my talks and presentations in whom my target audience are nominal SDA's in our churches. From this setting and the lifestyle that accompanies country living, I want to tie it in with the Bible prophecy, of how we as a people, have been raised up for such a time as this, albeit we have been in existence as a church body since 1844, a period of 182 years, and how the current world events are lining up to bring SDA's to the forefront, to be seen, recognized, heard, and to demonstrate the fullness of God's love in our lives, in our homes, in our churches, in our communities, in our world, and what should be our response - how we should make a start in reforming our ways of living to be restored back into the image of god, and also to hasten Christ's soon return as soon as Christ's perfect character is reproduced in His people, the 144,000, then Christ will put in the sickle and the harvest of His people will take place. I want to show the urgency of God's desire for man to understand His plan of salvation as found in the beauty of operations of the sanctuary, to reveal to the world the need to be restored into His image through true education, to reveal His character of love as seen in the ten commandments, particularly the seventh-day sabbath, which has been trodden under foot by the world seen in the setting up of a spurious sabbath made by man, Sunday-keeping, as the reason for why we operate country outposts, lifestyle centers and sanitariums, schools of the prophets, publishing centers, digital evangelism, to give to the world a revelation of God's love, which was needed 2,000 years ago, and what it needed then when Christ lived on the earth - it is not different. So now, what should be our response? How should begin to reform our ways of living? How shall we make a start in redeeming the time to become that people of God, the 144,000, in whom will be seen the character of God perfectly reproduced in His people (the 144,000), and who will live through the coming crisis of the abomination of desolation, the National sunday law enforcement, the time of no-buy, no-sell, a very serious time, indeed, and who will be the very ones to proclaim boldly the three angels' messages to every tribe, tongue, people and nation, the last message of mercy, the message of warning,a binding-off message, a message of invitation to come back to the true worship of the true God, to the true Sabbath day of rest, to God's true ways of living (a rural, country life of godly simplicity, purity, holiness, peculiarity, primitive godliness, a life of reform in eating, in dressing, in thinking, in healing (eight laws of health, natural remedies), in the education of our children, our youth, our young people to become self-supporting missionaries for god - true education, in the ways we are to learn practical trades in agriculture, construction, business, so that we may sustain ourselves independently of a worldly economy, come out of a lifestyle of slavery, and into the service of God, under his blood stained banner of freedom of choice, liberty of conscience, and total dependence upon God for our sustenance and our salvation. I want to start from Creation, the Edenic garden setting of the country (though greatly impacted by sin, and in which God's character is nigh in which all great men of the Bible and world history have been immeresed and grew to cherish the beauty, simplicity, honesty, purity, and innocence of nature (even in its fallen state) and the natural world (with which God had originally intended to be a lesson book of His character, His love, His law, and His government) with all of its powerful lessons of faith, God's marvelous power to change and transform man from sin to holiness, God's desire to dwell with man eternally, and man's responsiblity and privilege to trust and obey the God of heaven, of earth, great Monarch of the universe. then, i want to introduce the solution: the work and concept of country living and country outposts, where we adopt a rural lifestyle in the country, where we grow our own provisions (garden or market farming), where we educate our children using the model of true education, where we begin to reform the ways of eating a plant-based diet (fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, vegetables, roots), of dressing for health benefits, where we begin to renew our minds after the mind of christ, learning of him, learning of the three angels messages as a way of living for god's people, for the 144,000. this is the settting in which god's people will be prepared to stand before God without sin, without guile, without a need for an intercessor in the most holy place, which allows christ to now leave the most holy place and come back to the earth for the second time, to receive his people unto himself, that where he is, we may be also, where we will now enter into the 1,000 years (millenium) where we will reveiw the records of those who have professed to be god's people and to be satisfied with god's rewards to the just, and god's punishment to the unjust. I want to end with a call to action - a call to either come to the side of god and be a worker for him in these last days to be co-laborers with him in building the ark - the country outposts from which we will be living and residing, and from which we work the cities in city evangelism, establishing memorials for god. these would be health food restaurants, health-food stores, treatment centers, etc. how people can either contribute to the finishing work of preparing a people who will stand in these last days without sin, without an intercessor, and who will be strategic in hastening christ's second coming, and who will proclaim to all the world of what is to come, and to invite them into a saving relationship with Jesus. They can either donate money for purchasing land, for establishing city missions, for supporting missionaries; or they may donate land or their homes in which we can establish outpost centers, or they may donate their time as volunteers to work in our city missions or our country outpost centers, or they can support the work through prayers, or they may donate equipment and supplies needed for the successful operations of the outpost and urban mission field.

The Pattern of the Sanctuary and the Call to the Country 🌿
The Blueprint of Our Redemption
Beloved, the science of salvation must be the burden of our hearts, for we are living in the most solemn period of earth's history. To understand our identity and our calling as a people, we must look to the heavenly sanctuary, which is the key that unlocks the mystery of our past and reveals our present duty. This sanctuary is not a mere theory; it is the place where our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, is performing His final ministration for the judgment and intercession of His people.
In the beginning, God placed man in a garden—a rural, country environment where the mind and soul could be developed for the upbuilding of character. This was the original school of the prophets, where the physical nature was under the dominion of a higher power. Today, as we approach the close of probation, God is calling us back to that primitive godliness and simplicity found in country living.
A Story for the Little Ones: The Two Gardens 🏡
Children, imagine if you lived in a noisy, crowded city with no grass to play on and no birds to hear. Long ago, God made a beautiful garden called Eden for Adam and Eve. There were tall trees, colorful flowers, and delicious fruit for them to eat. God wants us to be in places where we can see His handiwork every day. Just like a little seed needs good soil and sunshine to grow into a strong plant, your hearts need a quiet, beautiful home in the country to grow to be like Jesus. When we live in nature, it is easier to remember to "Remember the Sabbath day" and to keep our hearts clean for Him Exodus 20:8.
I. The Sanctuary: Our Guide to the Image of God ⚖️
The subject of the sanctuary opened to view a complete system of truth, connected and harmonious. It shows us that we are in the great day of atonement, a time when we must humble our souls and prepare for the investigative judgment.
The Law in the Ark: In the Most Holy Place, the ark contains the ten commandments, the royal law which is the detector of sin Jam 2:8.
The Sabbath Breach: The fourth commandment has been trampled upon by the "man of sin," and we are called to repair the breach.
A Character Without Guile: The 144,000 are seen standing on Mount Zion because they have followed the Lamb on earth in trustful obedience, and in their mouth is found no guile Revelation 14:1-5.
Every act of life has an influence in forming the character, and the work of forming a good character is the noblest work in which we can engage. This character building must be done in harmony with the precepts of the Word of God.
II. The Call to the Country: Outposts of Mercy 🚜
God's design is for His people to locate outside the cities and, from these outposts, warn the inhabitants of the coming judgments. The cities are full of iniquity and pride, becoming like ancient Israel in their want of piety.
Education for Eternity: True education embraces physical, mental, and moral training. Our schools should be established in rural districts where youth can be qualified to become missionaries by precept and example.
Health by Faith: Health reform is a part of the third angel's message intended to prepare our bodies and souls for the close of probation. We must learn to breathe right and eat the simple, wholesome foods God has provided.
Agriculture and Self-Support: We are to learn practical trades like market farming and construction so that we may be independent of the worldly economy when the crisis of no-buy and no-sell arrives.
By moving to the country, we escape the "deathful moral miasma" of the public school system and the "corrupt youth" of the cities.
III. The Reproduction of Christ's Character 🕊️
Jesus is waiting for the reproduction of His character in His people. The 144,000 will be sealed when they reflect His image perfectly. This requires a total reformation in our way of living—our dress, our diet, and our thinking.
A Clean People: We must cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit 2 Corinthians 7:1.
The Sealing Message: The Sabbath is the seal of the living God, and those who receive it must sigh and cry for the abominations done in the churchEze 9:4.
Standing Without an Intercessor: When Jesus leaves the sanctuary, there will be no Priest to offer our prayers. We must be found holy and righteous then, having had our sins blotted out during the investigative judgment.
The Final Appeal: What Are You Going to Do? 📢
The times and seasons are in God's power, but the signs of the times declare that the coming of Christ is near at hand. We are not to be engrossed in speculations about the exact day or hour, but we are to watch, wait, pray, and work Matthew 25:13.
The standard of character is the royal law, and by it you will be measured Jam 2:8. Are you building on the Rock, Christ Jesus?
I appeal to you today:
Redeem the time: Will you begin to reform your ways of living now, before the dark night of trouble comes?
Sacrifice for the Cause: Will you donate your means, your land, or your time to establish country outposts and city missions?
Choose Your Side: Will you be among those who stand "stiffly for the truth" and enter the gates of the City?
Heaven's arches are waiting to ring with the song of the 144,000. Christ is looking down from the heavenly sanctuary, calling you by name. Do not treat this invitation with indifference. The door is open; will you let Jesus in just now Revelation 3:20?
What is your decision? Turn to Christ, forsake your sins, and join the work of preparing a people to stand in the great day of the Lord!

- The Solemnity of the Times: We are living in the time of the end, where the fast-fulfilling signs of the times declare that the coming of Christ is near at hand.
- The Key to Identity: The subject of the sanctuary is the key which unlocks the mystery of our past, revealing a complete system of truth that is connected and harmonious.
- Christ’s Current Work: Our faith must be fixed on the heavenly sanctuary, where Christ has entered the Most Holy place to perform the closing work of His priestly office.

- Standing Without an Intercessor: We must work while the day lasts, for when Jesus leaves the Sanctuary, there will be no Priest to offer our sacrifices or prayers.
- Scripture Foundation: "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" 2 Corinthians 7:1. "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God" Revelation 14:5.

how is the sanctuary a model for a modern country outpost where we have workers dwellings, a homestead with a farm, a school of the prophets where we educate our young people to become uself, self-sustaining, and learn the practical trades such as farming, construction, and missional entrepreneurialship, where our businesses are a vehicle to reach people with the three angels' messages and uitlize the outpost setting as an introduction to the lifestyle in heaven - introduce them to a life of purity, simplicity, honesty, and preparation for our heavenly home where we dwell together with God, with Christ, and inviting them to receive christ as their savior, king, and eternal friend?
AdventAI
The earthly sanctuary is a physical pattern that reveals the order and holiness required for God to dwell with His people, serving as a direct architectural and spiritual blueprint for a modern country outpost. Just as the sanctuary was organized with specific departments for service, education, and reconciliation, our outposts are to be centers of influence where every branch of the work is connected to the third angel's message.
The Outpost as a Model of the Sanctuary ⚖️
A Dwelling Place for God: The primary purpose of the sanctuary was so that God could dwell among His people, and your country home should be a "peaceable habitation" where the atmosphere of heaven is felt Exodus 25:8Isaiah 32:18.
The School of the Prophets: Just as the sanctuary required trained priests to understand the "patterns of things in the heavens," our schools must provide a practical training that fits students to be self-supporting missionaries Hebrews 9:23.
Practical Trades and Education: In these schools, students are to learn how to build simply, cultivate the land, and care for stock, mirroring the detailed craftsmanship required for the tabernacle. This education is designed to develop workers of whom God will not be ashamed.
The Agrarian Lifestyle and the Life of Heaven 🌿
Restoration of the Image: Country living is the setting where we begin to reform our ways and be restored into the image of God through true education. By working with the soil, we co-operate with Christ and learn what it means to seek for eternal life as for hidden treasure.
Simplicity and Purity: The furniture of the tabernacle, made of solid gold and beautiful curtains, represented the purity and glory of the heavenly temple. Our outposts should radiate this same "sweetness of His character" through a life of simplicity and unselfish deeds.
A Vision of the Future Home: Life in the country is an introduction to our final home, where the saved will see the King in His beauty and behold a land that is very far off Isaiah 33:17.
Missional Entrepreneurship and the Three Angels' Messages 📢
Self-Supporting Labor: Like the Apostle Paul, who wrought at a trade to sustain himself, our workers are to use farming and business as a means of support while teaching the gospel.
Reaching the Cities: These outposts serve as the base for city evangelism, where we establish memorials like health-food stores and treatment centers to reach different classes of people.
Medical Missionary Work: Our sanitariums and small farm schools are to be to the message what the right hand is to the body, relieving pain to prepare hearts to listen to the truth.
An Invitation to the Sanctuary Above 🕊️
Our goal is to point everyone to Christ, our Mediator in the heavenly sanctuary, where He presents His spotless righteousness as fragrant incense before the Father. Through the daily life in the outpost, we invite others to look past the human instrument to the Great Worker within the heavenly temple. We must act as Christ would act, revealing that wealth of love which underlies all His teachings, until He rises from His mediatorial work and the harvest of the earth is reaped Revelation 14:15.
"The way of our coming is described in Acts 20:21: 'Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ'". Let us begin this humble work now, for those who withhold nothing for service are given power for measureless results.
