For Sabbath-School Teachers

A VALUABLE collection of plants, seeds, etc., from Bible lands for use in Sabbath-school work. Almost all of the younger and most of the older people of this country are ignorant concerning the trees, plants, seeds, etc., spoken of in the Bible, and we believe this collection will be a great help to them in understanding those portions of God's Word where reference is made to them.

There are twenty-five articles in all, and the following is the list:—

*ANISE, of the praying Pharisee; Matt. 23:23 BOXWOOD, a species of cedar; Isa. 41:19 BRAYED WHEAT, Prov. 27:22 CAMPHIRE, or HENNA, a dye; S. S. 1:14 CASSIA, an ingredient of the anointing oil; Ex. 30:24 CUMMIN, of the praying Pharisee; Matt. 23:23 THE POTHERB, 2 Kings 9:30; Rev. 3:18 FITCHES, Isa. 28:25, 27 GROUND CORN, 2 Sam. 17:19 HUSK, of the prodigal son; Luke 15:16 HYSSOP, Lev. 14:4, 51 INCENSE or FRANKINCENSE, Ex. 30:7 LENTILS, 2 Sam. 23:11 LENTILS SPLIT or MESS OF POTTAGE, Gen. 25:29, 30 MINT, Matt. 23:23 MUSTARD SEED, Luke 17:6 MYRRH, Ex. 30:23; John 19:39 OLIVE LEAVES, Gen. 8:11 OLIVE WOOD, Ps. 52:8 ORIENTAL NUTS, Gen. 43:11 PULSE, Dan. 1:16 REED PEN, used by the prophets; Jer. 36:23 SACKCLOTH, 2 Sam. 3:31 SAFFRON, a perfume; S. S. 4:14 TARES, Matt. 13:25*

Each article of the above is contained in a small box with glass top, and all are enclosed in a neat cabinet five and one-half by nine inches in size. A descriptive pamphlet goes with each collection, in which is given illustrations of many of the growing plants, etc., and considerable information concerning each.

We believe Sabbath-schools and teachers will do well to secure one of these sets, for the teacher that can engage the eye as well as the ear, in imparting truth, certainly has a great advantage.

The regular price of this collection is $1.50, but we have secured a number of sets that we will
