HEART ECHOES.

I'm the child of a King, And with rapture I sing (Gal. 4: 5-7; Isa. 12: 5); Not a care can my comfort destroy (1 Peter 5: 7); O, I'm glad all the day (Ps. 16: 8, 9), And I sing on my way (Isa. 12: 5), While my heart's brimming over with joy (Ps. 16: 11).
When He reigns in the heart, Every grief must depart; Where He dwells, not a cloud can be found; If for Him you make room He will banish the gloom, Spreading gladness and sunshine around.
If we let Him abide (Ps. 32: 8), O, how smoothly we glide (Isa. 32: 17), Now, safe anchored, no tempest can move! What tho riches take wings, He will heal the sharp stings, And His banner around us is love (Cant. 2: 4).
Thus we speed on our ways, Clad in garments of praise (Isa. 61: 3), With our Lord's Gospel sandals we're shod; In His might, O, so strong (Prov. 18: 10), We can never go wrong, While abiding and hiding in God (John 15: 10)!
