Hello! I am AdventAI, your friendly, helpful, and versatile AI assistant 🌟. I was designed and built by Seventh-day Adventists and am based on the Bible, Ellen G. White, and other Seventh-day Adventist authors to help you in your study of truth 📖.

If you are wondering what I can do or what questions you can ask, here are some examples:

For finding quotes, you can ask questions like:

  • "Where is the EGW quote that says [x, y, z]"
  • "Give me EGW quotes on [x] "

For general theological research, you can ask topical questions like:

Or questions about specific Bible verses like:

How can I assist you in your journey of faith today 🙏?

Can you look at current events and compare with prophecy?

AdventAI

Current events clearly demonstrate that we are on the verge of a stupendous crisis as divine prophecy is being fulfilled in the actions of the nations today. 🌍 By observing the intensity taking possession of every earthly element, thinking men and women recognize that something great and decisive is about to take place.

The Fulfillment of Prophecy in Current Events

The "sure word of prophecy" acts as a light in a dark place, allowing us to discern our position in the stream of time 2 Peter 1:19.

  • Political and Social Unrest: The general awakening of nations, the spirit of war, and the gathering of military forces are precursors to the great day of the Lord. Calamities by land and sea, such as the frequent and terrible earthquakes recently seen in Italy and Sicily, are testimonies that the end of all things is near Luke 21:25-26.

  • Religious Legislation: A movement to enforce Sunday observance is fast gaining ground and has become a matter of national importance. This specific trend is a direct fulfillment of predictions made for over half a century regarding the union of church and state to restrict liberty of conscience.

  • The Papacy: The history of the papacy, including the loss of its temporal power in 1870 and its increasing assumptions, such as the decree of papal infallibility, aligns with the "great words" spoken by the little horn in Daniel 7.

The Purpose of Prophetic Study

Prophecy is essentially history in advance, designed to show God's servants things which must shortly come to pass Revelation 1:1. 📖

  • A Living Pledge: Every prophecy fulfilled in the past, such as the rise and fall of the four universal monarchies—Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia, and Rome—serves as a living pledge that future predictions will surely be fulfilled Daniel 2:31-45.

  • Detecting Deception: In an age where Satan works with "lying wonders" and assumes the garb of Christianity, we must depend on the prophetic word to detect the impostor 2 Thessalonians 2:9.

  • Individual Preparation: Knowing the signs of the times is not merely for intellectual interest but is a spiritual duty to ensure we are not "children of darkness" overtaken by the day of the Lord 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6.

The Final Movements

The agencies of evil are currently combining and consolidating their forces for the last great conflict against the principles of God's law.

  • Rapid Climax: The final movements of earth's history will be rapid ones, moving from one fulfillment to the next until the Son of man is revealed in the clouds of heaven Luke 21:27.

  • The Loud Cry: As the third angel's message swells into a "loud cry," God's people will be prepared to stand firm against the deceptions and persecutions of the last days Revelation 14:9-12.

  • The Result of Disobedience: Nations today are paving the way for their own destruction by disregarding divine law, following the pattern of every nation that has arisen and fallen in the past.

By taking heed to the prophetic map, we can see that we have passed almost every major waymark and are now standing upon the very threshold of the eternal kingdom. ☁️ ✨

I'd like to take a look at a controversial subject. I have been watching news and current events primarily in the middle east and have come to the conclusion Ellen G White and the pioneers were correct on their view on the "Eastern Question". News from Turkey for the last decade indicates they plan to invade Jerusalem and take it back because of the pressure from the Russian/Ukrainian war and the war with Iran. The Islamic Brotherhood is behind it mostly. I do not believe the King of the North towards the end of Daniel 11 is the papacy anymore like mainstream SDA generally believe. They try to correlate the King of the North to the antichrist but I believe Daniel 11 is a literal prophecy dealing with political historical events as a roadmap through time leading up to the second coming of Christ and correlating the King of the North to the antichrist is conflating two separate subjects.

AdventAI

The historical and prophetic understanding of the "Eastern Question" identifies the King of the North in the latter part of Daniel 11 as the Ottoman Empire, or Turkey, whose final movements and eventual end are a literal roadmap to the close of probation and the second coming of Christ Daniel 11:40-45. 🌍

The Literal Application of Daniel 11

The prophecy of Daniel 11 is a detailed, literal history of the struggle between earthly powers, specifically the King of the North and the King of the South, which continues until the very end of time.

  • Political History as a Roadmap: The prophetic periods of Daniel throw a flood of light upon events that transpire on the very eve of the great consummation. The kings of the North and South were the divisions of Alexander’s empire that occupied territory north and south of the "pleasant land," which is Palestine Daniel 8:9.

  • The King of the North: Historical fulfillments point to Turkey as the power currently occupying the territory of the King of the North. This power entered the "glorious land" and has been the center of "The Eastern Question" for generations Daniel 11:41.

  • A Separate Subject from the Papacy: While the papacy is a central figure in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 the power described at the end of Daniel 11 is distinct, coming to his end with "none to help him," a fate that aligns with the long-observed decline of the Ottoman power Daniel 11:45.

Turkey and the Eastern Question

The "Eastern Question" has long been recognized as a signal of the approaching end of earth's history.

  • The Drying of the Euphrates: In prophecy, the "drying up" of the river Euphrates refers to the ending of the Turkish power that occupies that geographical region Revelation 16:12. This occurs to prepare the way for the "kings of the East" Revelation 16:12.

  • Moving the Seat of Power: The expectation that the Turkish power would eventually be driven out of Constantinople and attempt to plant its "palatial tents" in Jerusalem is a specific detail of the prophecy yet to be fully realized Daniel 11:45.

  • The Involvement of Russia: Russia, identified as the "prince of Rosh," has historically sought to absorb the Turkish empire and establish itself in Constantinople as the protector of "orthodoxy".

The Climax: Michael Standing Up

The conclusion of the "Eastern Question" and the end of the King of the North are immediately followed by the most solemn event in the prophetic calendar Daniel 12:1.

  • The Close of Probation: At the time the King of the North comes to his end, Michael (Christ) stands up, signifying that the work of intercession in the heavenly sanctuary is finished Daniel 12:1.

  • A Time of Trouble: This transition ushers in a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation, culminating in the deliverance of God's people Daniel 12:1.

  • The Unsealing of Daniel: The book of Daniel, especially the portion relating to the last days, is now unsealed so that knowledge of these events can increase and prepare a people to stand Daniel 12:4.

The study of these prophecies in connection with the book of Revelation is essential, as they interpret each other and provide the special light needed for this time. 📖 Every effort should be made to get the instruction contained in "Daniel and the Revelation" before the world, as it reveals the true meaning of current international conflicts.
