How Do the Seven. Trumpets in the book of revelation relate to the seven Feasts in Trump. It’s blown at the final feast, which had the day of atonement.

Revelation 9

1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts on the earth: and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

7 And the shapes of the locusts were like to horses prepared to battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

10 And they had tails like to scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.

12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like to serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Leviticus 23

1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their seasons.

5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’s passover.

6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to the LORD: seven days you must eat unleavened bread.

7 In the first day you shall have an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.

8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.

9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

10 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you be come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:

11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

12 And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to the LORD.

13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to the LORD for a sweet smell: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that you have brought an offering to your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

15 And you shall count to you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

16 Even to the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering to the LORD.

17 You shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the first fruits to the LORD.

18 And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering to the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet smell to the LORD.

19 Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

21 And you shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation to you: you shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

22 And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not make clean riddance of the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of your harvest: you shall leave them to the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

25 You shall do no servile work therein: but you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

26 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation to you; and you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.

28 And you shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

29 For whatever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

30 And whatever soul it be that does any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

31 You shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

32 It shall be to you a sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even to even, shall you celebrate your sabbath.

33 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

34 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days to the LORD.

35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.

36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work therein.

37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing on his day:

38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which you give to the LORD.

39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

40 And you shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

41 And you shall keep it a feast to the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

42 You shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:

43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

44 And Moses declared to the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

Revelation 8

1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunder, and lightning, and an earthquake.

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast on the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters;

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the middle of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Revelation 11

1 And there was given me a reed like to a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given to the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell on the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelled on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell on them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe comes quickly.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell on their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give you thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which are, and were, and are to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give reward to your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name, small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightning, and voices, and thunder, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The seven trumpets of Revelation and the seven feasts of the sanctuary service are deeply connected through the theme of divine judgment and the closing of human probation 🎺. While the blowing of trumpets was a frequent occurrence in Israel, it reached its most significant typical fulfillment in the seventh month, signaling the transition from the daily service to the final investigative judgment.

The Prophetic Role of the Seven Trumpets

The seven trumpets in the book of Revelation represent a series of significant military and political events that lead to the end of the world.

  • Wars and Rome: The first four trumpets describe the fall of the Western Roman Empire, while the fifth and sixth trumpets detail the collapse of the Eastern Roman Empire through the rise of the Saracens and Turks.

  • The Seventh Trumpet: This final trumpet marks the end of all earthly things, announcing that the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord Revelation 11:15.

  • The Mystery of God: When the seventh angel begins to sound, the "mystery of God"—which is the gospel to all nations—is finished Revelation 10:7.

  • Opening the Temple: Under the sounding of the seventh trumpet, the temple of God in heaven is opened, and the ark of His testament is seen Revelation 11:19.

The Seven Feasts and Leviticus 23

The feasts outlined in Leviticus 23 provide a prophetic timeline of redemption history, moving from the spring feasts to the final autumnal services Leviticus 23:4-44.

  • The Memorial of Trumpets: On the first day of the seventh month, the Feast of Trumpets was celebrated as a memorial, warning the people of the near approach of the Day of Atonement Leviticus 23:24.

  • The Day of Atonement: On the tenth day of the seventh month, the high priest entered the Most Holy Place to cleanse the sanctuary and blot out the sins of the people Leviticus 23:27.

  • The Final Feast: The Feast of Tabernacles followed on the fifteenth day, representing the final deliverance of God's people and the joy of the redeemed in the kingdom Leviticus 23:34.

Alignment of the Trumpets and the Atonement

The sounding of the trumpets in Revelation serves as the antitype to the blowing of trumpets in the typical Jewish system, specifically pointing to the investigative judgment.

  • The Warning Message: Just as the typical trumpets warned Israel of the approaching Day of Atonement, the "midnight cry" and the first angel's message announced to the world that "the hour of His judgment is come" Revelation 14:6-7.

  • 1844 and the Cleansing: The 2300-day prophecy of Daniel 8:14 ended in 1844 on the tenth day of the seventh month, marking the start of the antitypical Day of Atonement and the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary Daniel 8:14.

  • Investigative Judgment: During this period, which the seventh trumpet introduces, Christ performs the investigative judgment, examining the records of those who have confessed their sins before the close of probation.

  • The Close of Probation: In the type, those who did not afflict their souls on the Day of Atonement were cut off; likewise, when Christ finishes His work in the Most Holy Place, the decree is issued that "he that is filthy, let him be filthy still" Leviticus 23:29.

Spiritual Preparation

We are currently living in the great antitypical Day of Atonement, a time for deep heart-searching and the putting away of sin.

  • Self-Examination: Like the ancient Israelites, we are called to humble our souls and ensure our sins are confessed and sent beforehand to judgment Leviticus 16:29.

  • The Scapegoat: After the High Priest finishes the work of reconciling the sanctuary, he places the sins upon the head of the scapegoat, which represents Satan, who will eventually bear the final guilt and be destroyed Leviticus 16:20-22.

  • The Jubilee: At the close of the Day of Atonement in the sabbatical year, the jubilee trumpet sounded, proclaiming liberty throughout the land Leviticus 25:9-10. This is a beautiful type of the second coming of Christ, when the last trumpet will sound to gather the redeemed.

It is essential to understand that the seventh trumpet has begun to sound, signaling that we are in the time of the final judgment and must work in harmony with our High Priest to cleanse the soul temple.
