The Prophecies of Daniel: From Babylon to Armageddon
What secret message did the hand trace on the palace wall in Babylon?

The Warning of Belshazzar’s Feast for Modern Christendom
The sacrilegious feast of Belshazzar serves as a definitive historical type and a solemn warning for modern Christendom, illustrating the consequences of spiritual pride, the profanation of sacred things, and the certainty of divine judgment upon those who reject heaven's light.
Historical Context and the Fall of Ancient Babylon
Ancient Babylon reached its zenith under Nebuchadnezzar, but its final collapse occurred during the reign of his grandson, Belshazzar. In 538 B.C., while the Medo-Persian army under Cyrus besieged the city, Belshazzar displayed his contempt for the danger by holding a massive festival for a thousand of his lords. In a state of unrestrained indulgence and intoxication, the king committed an act of supreme impiety by commanding that the sacred golden and silver vessels, taken by Nebuchadnezzar from the temple in Jerusalem, be used for his revelry Daniel 5:1-3. While drinking from these consecrated vessels, the assembly praised gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, and stone, openly defying the true God of Israel Daniel 5:4.
The Unseen Watcher and the Divine Verdict
In the midst of this blasphemous mirth, a bloodless hand appeared, tracing mystic characters upon the palace wall Daniel 5:5. This "unseen Watcher," who hears every word of blasphemy and beholds every impious action, signaled that the limits of divine forbearance had been reached. Daniel, the prophet of God, was called to interpret the writing: Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. The message was clear: God had numbered the kingdom and finished it; the king had been weighed in the balances and found wanting; and the empire was to be divided and given to the Medes and Persians Daniel 5:26-28. That very night, Belshazzar was slain, and the Babylonian empire ceased to exist Daniel 5:30.
Parallel Apostasy in Modern Christendom
Modern Christendom is currently repeating the history of ancient Babylon by exalting human tradition above the explicit commandments of God. Just as Belshazzar profaned the sacred vessels of the temple, the professedly Christian world today treats the holy Sabbath of the Lord with similar profanation, substituting it with a man-made institution. The term "Babylon" is applied to the world-loving churches of the last days because of the confusion of conflicting creeds and the rejection of the special truths sent to correct their path Revelation 14:8. This moral declension is progressive; as churches reject light, they fall lower into spiritual darkness and eventually become a "habitation of devils" and a "hold of every foul spirit" Revelation 18:2.
The Loud Cry and the Final Call to Separate
God in His mercy provides a final warning to those still within these fallen systems through the three angels' messages.
The Proclamation of the Fall: The message "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" identifies the moral fall of the churches resulting from their rejection of heaven’s light Revelation 14:8.
The Call to Exit: A second, louder call is given: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues" Revelation 18:4.
The Warning Against False Worship: The third angel warns against the worship of the beast and his image, specifically identifying the observance of a spurious sabbath as a mark of apostasy Revelation 14:9-12.
Conclusion: The Certainty of Judgment
The judgment written upon the walls of Belshazzar’s palace is a type of the judgment that will soon fall upon modern Christendom. The same "Watcher" who presided over that ancient feast is marking the motives and actions of every soul today. When the union of the church with the world is fully accomplished and the "wine of the wrath of her fornication" has been made for all nations to drink, the fall of Babylon will be complete Revelation 18:3. For those who refuse to humble their hearts despite the light given, the result will be a sudden and irretrievable destruction, just as ancient Babylon fell in a single night Daniel 5:30-31.

Lesson 2 - Mene,Menes,tekel,upharsin
AdventAI
Imagine seeing a mysterious, glowing hand appear out of nowhere and write four powerful words on a wall during a giant party! Those four words were "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin," and they were a special message from God to a king who had forgotten to be humble.
The Special Meaning of the Words
Even though the words were short, each one was like a whole sentence telling King Belshazzar what was about to happen to his kingdom. It’s a bit like a report card from Heaven showing that the king hadn’t been doing the right thing.
Mene (Numbered): This word was so important that it was written twice for emphasis! It meant that God had counted the days of the king's power and decided it was time for it to end Daniel 5:26. Just like a clock ticking down, the time for his kingdom was finished.
Tekel (Weighed): Imagine God has a giant, perfectly accurate set of scales 1 Samuel 2:3. He placed the king on one side to see how much "goodness" was there, but the king was found to be "wanting," which means he was lighter than air or empty of good things Job 31:6. He had been given so much light and truth but chose to ignore it.
Upharsin or Peres (Divided): This word told the king that his big, beautiful kingdom was going to be split up and given to his enemies, the Medes and the Persians, who were actually already waiting right outside his gates.
Why God Sent the Message
God always tries to talk to people in ways they can understand. In those days, people often thought about their gods weighing their good deeds in balances, so God used that same idea to show Belshazzar his mistake. The king had been very proud and even used special gold cups from God's temple for a wild party, which was very disrespectful. Even though he knew how his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar had learned to be humble, Belshazzar chose to be proud anyway.
A Lesson for Us Today
This story is like a mirror for us to look at ourselves. It reminds us that there is always an "unseen Watcher" with us, even when we think we are alone, who sees if we are being kind and following God's way. God gives us opportunities every day to choose what is right and to learn from the past. By being humble and listening to God's loving advice, we can make sure that when we are "weighed," we are full of His love 1 John 1:9. The same hand that wrote on the wall later rent the veil of the temple when Jesus died, showing that God's power is always working to help us find our way back to Him.

Lesson #3- Daniel,As the prime minister of King Dairus
AdventAI
Daniel was a very special helper to King Darius, and even though he had a big, important job as the prime minister, he always remembered that God was his true King. He lived a life that was so pure and honest that it was like a bright light shining in a dark place.
A Man of Unshakable Character
Daniel was the same person when things were scary as he was when everything was going great. Whether he was sitting in a fancy office as the chief minister or standing in a dark den full of hungry lions, his heart stayed close to God. He showed everyone that a busy person doesn't have to be sneaky or mean to succeed. Instead, he was a man who let God guide every single step he took. Because he was so faithful and did his work perfectly, even people who didn't like him had to admit they couldn't find a single mistake in anything he did Daniel 6:4.
Standing Tall for God
King Darius liked Daniel so much that he made him the most important leader in the whole land. But some other leaders were jealous and tricked the king into making a rule that no one could pray to anyone except the king for thirty days. Daniel knew about the rule, but he didn't let it stop him from talking to his Best Friend, God. He went to his room, opened his windows wide so everyone could see, and knelt down to pray three times a day just like he always did Daniel 6:10. He believed that no king has the right to come between a person and God.
Saved by an Angel
Because Daniel obeyed God instead of the king's new rule, he was thrown into a pit with big, strong lions. King Darius was very sad because he realized he had been tricked, and he couldn't sleep at all that night. He even spent the night praying and hoping that Daniel’s God would save him. Early the next morning, the king ran to the den and called out to see if Daniel was okay Daniel 6:20. Daniel’s voice came back clear and happy, saying that God had sent a beautiful angel to shut the lions' mouths so they wouldn't hurt him Daniel 6:22.
Lessons from Daniel’s Life
Daniel's story teaches us some wonderful things:
Be the Same Everywhere: We should be just as kind and good when we are having a hard time as we are when we are happy.
Work with Heart: We can do our schoolwork or chores so well that no one can find a "flaw" or mistake in them.
Trust the Unseen: Even when we can't see Him, God is always watching over us like a "Watcher" who loves us very much.
Prayer is Power: Daniel didn't just pray in his heart; he used his voice and made time for God every single day.
Just like Daniel was a prime minister for an earthly king, Jesus wants us to be like "prime ministers" for His heavenly kingdom by sharing His love with everyone we meet. When we stay true to what is right, like Daniel did, we show the whole world how great and powerful our God really is Daniel 6:26-27.

Lesson #4-Daniel in the Lions Den
AdventAI
Daniel’s night in the lions’ den was a wonderful miracle that showed the whole world how the true and living God can protect His children when they are brave and faithful. Even though some people tried to use a scary rule to hurt him, God turned that dark pit into a place of peace and joy.
A Brave Choice
Some leaders were jealous of Daniel because he was so good at his job, so they tricked King Darius into signing a law that nobody could pray to God for thirty days. Daniel knew about this law, but he loved God more than he feared anything on earth. He didn't try to hide; he went home, opened his windows wide toward Jerusalem, and knelt down to pray three times a day just like he always did. Daniel knew that it is never right for a king to tell a person how to worship God, and he chose to be true to his principles no matter what.
The Den of Lions
When the king found out Daniel had prayed, he was very sad because the law of the Medes and Persians could not be changed. Even though the king tried all day to find a way to save him, Daniel was finally thrown into a deep, dark cave filled with hungry lions. A heavy stone was rolled over the opening and sealed so no one could let him out. Satan felt very happy because he thought he had finally destroyed Daniel, just like he thought he had won when Jesus was placed in the tomb many years later.
A Night with an Angel
While the king was so worried that he couldn't eat or sleep, Daniel was having one of the most precious times of his life. God sent a powerful angel into the den to shut the lions' mouths. Instead of biting him, the lions acted like gentle pets, couching at Daniel's feet or fondly licking his hands. Daniel was as safe in that den as if he were in his own house because God’s angel encamped right around him.
The Morning Surprise
Very early the next morning, the king rushed to the den and called out with a sad voice to see if Daniel was still alive. Daniel answered him kindly, saying, "My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me" Daniel 6:21-22. When Daniel was pulled out, there wasn't a single scratch on him because he believed in his God. The king then made a new decree telling everyone in the world that Daniel’s God is the living God who works signs and wonders in heaven and earth.
Special Lessons for Us
God is Always Near: Even when we are in a "scary place," we are never alone because the angel of the Lord stays close to those who love Him Psalms 34:7.
Be True to God: When we do what is right even when it’s hard, it helps other people learn about the true God.
Peace in the Storm: A person who trusts God can be just as calm and happy during a trial as they are when everything is going great.
Faith is Like a Shield: Because Daniel had "innocency" and faith, the wild beasts could not hurt him Daniel 6:23.
Just like the lions were at peace with Daniel, God promises that one day all the animals will be friends again and "the lion shall eat straw like the ox" Isaiah 11:6-7. If we stay faithful like Daniel, God will give us strength for every test we face.

Lesson #5 Daniel’s First Vision
AdventAI
1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2 Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove on the great sea.
3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand on the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6 After this I beheld, and see another, like a leopard, which had on the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the middle of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
16 I came near to one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;
20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
28 Till now is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
AdventAI
Imagine Daniel tucked away in his bed, having a very special dream from God about the future of the whole world! In this dream, he saw a giant, stormy sea where four huge, strange-looking beasts came climbing out of the water one by one Daniel 7:1-3. These animals were like a secret code or a picture book that told the story of four big kingdoms that would rule the earth a long time ago Daniel 7:17.
The Four Amazing Beasts
Each animal Daniel saw represented a different kingdom, starting from his own time and moving forward like a timeline of history.
The Golden Lion: The first beast was a beautiful lion with eagle’s wings, representing the kingdom of Babylon Daniel 7:4. It showed how strong and fast Babylon was, just like a king of the forest with the wings of a king of the birds.
The Strong Bear: Next came a bear that stood up on one side with three ribs in its mouth, which was the kingdom of Medo-Persia Daniel 7:5. The ribs showed the countries it had conquered, and it was a very powerful, heavy-hitting kingdom.
The Speedy Leopard: The third beast was a leopard with four wings and four heads, representing Grecia Daniel 7:6. The wings showed that this kingdom would take over the world super fast, and the four heads showed it would eventually be split into four parts.
The Scary Fourth Beast: The last beast was so different and "terrible" that it didn't even look like a normal animal Daniel 7:7. It had giant iron teeth and ten horns on its head, representing the mighty Roman Empire and the ten smaller kingdoms it would later break into Daniel 7:23-24.
The Little Horn and the Great King
While Daniel was looking at the ten horns, a "little horn" grew up among them and started saying very proud things against God Daniel 7:8. This little horn represented a power that would try to change God's laws and be unkind to God's special people for a very long time Daniel 7:25.
But don't worry, because the dream had a happy ending! Daniel saw a beautiful scene in Heaven where the "Ancient of Days"—who is God the Father—sat on a glowing throne of fire, and the books of life were opened for a giant courtroom meeting called the judgment Daniel 7:9-10. Then, Jesus, the Son of Man, came on the clouds to receive a kingdom that will never, ever end Daniel 7:13-14.
What This Teaches Us
Even when the world seems like a big, stormy sea, God is the one in charge of everything. He told Daniel this story so we could know that even though some kingdoms might be "scary" or "beastly," God’s kingdom of love is the one that wins at the very end Daniel 7:18Daniel 7:27.
Just like Daniel, we can keep these special secrets in our hearts and know that Jesus is coming soon to give His beautiful kingdom to all His friends Daniel 7:28. When we choose to follow Jesus, our names are written in His "Book of Life," and we get to be part of His forever family Revelation 21:27!

Lesson 6- The investigative judgment seen in Vision.
AdventAI
The investigative judgment is like a very special time in Heaven's courtroom where Jesus and His Father look at the life stories of everyone who has ever said they love God. This isn't about Jesus coming back to earth yet; instead, it's a beautiful meeting where He goes to see His Father, the "Ancient of Days," to finish His work of helping us.
The Heavenly Courtroom
In his vision, Daniel saw a giant room with many thrones, and God the Father sat down on a throne that looked like a bright, fiery flame Daniel 7:9. Surrounding Him were millions and millions of shining angels, all ready to help with this important work Daniel 7:10. Then, the most important part happened: the "books" were opened Daniel 7:10. These books have a perfect record of everything we have ever said or done, and even our secret thoughts are written there by the angels.
Who is Being Judged?
This special judgment is just for the "house of God," which means people who have chosen to follow Jesus 1 Peter 4:17. It started way back in the year 1844, beginning with the people who lived a long time ago and slowly coming down to the people who are alive today. Jesus, our Great High Priest, stands right there with us as our Best Friend and Advocate, showing that His blood covers all our mistakes when we are truly sorry.
The Wedding Garment
Jesus once told a story about a King who gave a big wedding feast and came in to see the guests Matthew 22:11. This is just like the investigative judgment! The King is looking to see if we are wearing the "wedding garment," which is a heart and character that has been made clean and white by Jesus Revelation 7:14. It shows that we have let Him help us become kind, honest, and loving every single day.
A Time of Great Joy
We don't have to be afraid of this courtroom meeting because our names are written in the "Book of Life" in Heaven. When the court sees that we have truly asked for forgiveness and love Jesus with all our hearts, He "blots out" our sins, which means they are washed away forever. This is the very last thing Jesus does before He receives His kingdom and comes back to take us home to be with Him forever Daniel 7:13-14.
What Should We Do Now?
While this big meeting is going on in Heaven, we can have a special time of "heart-searching" here on earth. It’s like getting ready for a very special visitor by cleaning our rooms and making sure everything is tidy. We can talk to Jesus every day, tell Him we are sorry for our mistakes, and ask Him to help us be "conquerors" over everything that is mean or bad. By staying close to Him, we can be happy knowing our cases are in the hands of the One who loves us most.

Lesson #7 The Medo - Persian Empire
AdventAI
The Medo-Persian Empire was the second great kingdom to rule the world, and it was represented in Daniel’s visions by the silver arms of a giant statue and a powerful bear. This kingdom began its journey when it conquered Babylon in the year 538 B.C., and it stayed in power for about 207 years.
The Bear with Two Sides
In Daniel’s dream, he saw a bear that "raised up itself on one side". This was a special way of showing that even though two groups of people—the Medes and the Persians—joined together to make one big family, one side would eventually become much stronger than the other. At first, the Medes were the leaders, but later the Persian side, led by a famous general named Cyrus, became the "higher" and more famous part of the kingdom.
A Kingdom That Pushed Far and Wide
God also showed Daniel this empire as a ram with two horns that pushed its way in three directions: North, West, and South. This meant the Medo-Persian kingdom grew very, very large, eventually covering 127 different provinces and reaching from India all the way to Ethiopia. It was so big that it was at least eight times larger than the Babylonian empire that came before it!
The Kings and the People of God
The Medo-Persian kings were used by God to help His people, the Israelites, go back home to Jerusalem after they had been away for a long time.
Darius the Mede: He was the very first king of this new empire after Babylon fell. He was 62 years old when he started, and he was the king who put Daniel in the lions' den, though he was very happy when God's angel saved him.
Cyrus the Persian: He was a very special leader because God called him by his name in the Bible more than 100 years before he was even born! Cyrus made a wonderful decree that let the Jewish people go home and start building God's house again 2 Chronicles 36:22-23.
Artaxerxes: Later on, this king also showed great kindness to helpers like Ezra and Nehemiah, giving them gifts and power to finish fixing the walls of Jerusalem.
Lessons from the Silver Kingdom
Even though this kingdom was very strong and "did according to his will," it eventually fell because the people forgot to follow God's way. The Bible tells us that while these kings were busy ruling, a "Holy Watcher" was always nearby, weighing their actions and seeing if they were fulfilling His purposes Daniel 4:17.
It teaches us that:
God is the Boss of History: He knows the names of leaders before they are born and moves their hearts to help His children Isaiah 45:1-4.
True Power Comes from God: No matter how many provinces a king has, only things built on God’s character will last forever Psalms 105:13-14.
Kindness is Greatness: Even though some of the later kings were "bloodthirsty," the ones who listened to God’s messengers were able to do great things for the world.
Just like the Medo-Persian empire took the place of Babylon, it was eventually followed by the kingdom of Grecia, showing us that earthly kingdoms come and go, but God’s love stays the same forever.

Lesson # 8- The Restoration of the Jewish Nation and Their Time Of Grace
AdventAI
The restoration of the Jewish nation was a special time when God gave His people a chance to rebuild their homes and their hearts after being away for seventy years. This period was a beautiful "day of grace" where God showed how much He loved them and wanted them to be ready for the coming of Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
A Time to Rebuild with Faith
When the Jewish people first came back to Jerusalem, they found their fields empty and the temple in ruins. Even though they didn't have much food and were surrounded by people who weren't very friendly, they worked very hard to fix God’s house because they trusted Him. God sent special messengers named Haggai and Zechariah to tell them that if they stayed faithful, the "Desire of all nations"—which is another name for Jesus—would one day walk into that very building to teach everyone about God's love.
The Three Special Decrees
God used the kings of the Medo-Persian empire to help His people go back home. King Artaxerxes Longimanus was very kind to his Jewish friends, Ezra and Nehemiah, and in the year 457 B.C., he gave a final command to help restore Jerusalem and its government. This was part of a special timeline of 490 years that God set aside specifically for the Jewish people to help them get ready for the Messiah.
What is "Probationary Time"?
You might hear grown-ups use a big word called "probationary time". This is actually a very simple and precious concept! It is like a "practice time" or a "day of grace" that God lends to us so we can learn to be kind, honest, and loving.
Learning to Choose: Just like the Jewish people had a set time to choose to follow God, we are also in our probationary time right now, learning how to make good choices.
Building a Character: This time is for us to grow and become more like Jesus in our words and our play.
A Precious Gift: Every hour we have is a "golden moment" to be used for helping others and doing good.
The Sanctuary and the Clean Heart
During this time, the people learned about the "cleansing of the sanctuary". This was a special way of showing that when we tell God we are sorry for our mistakes, He washes our hearts and makes them clean. But it’s very important not to wait! We should make the most of our "day of grace" while we can, because one day this practice time will end when Jesus comes back to take us to heaven.
Lessons for Us Today
Work with Heart: Just like the "sons of the prophets" went to school to learn wisdom from God, we can use our time to study and become wise leaders who help others.
Listen to the Call: God is always speaking to us through His Spirit, asking us to be loyal and true.
God’s Promises are Sure: Even when things look hard, God’s Word never fails, and He will reward those who move forward by faith.
God’s heart of mercy is still stretched out to save everyone today, and He wants us to use our time to prepare for a wonderful life that will last forever with Him. Just as He gave the Jewish nation a window of time to reflect His character, He gives us the same beautiful opportunity to be His lights in the world.
Because he has given us this time, we can pray like Daniel did: "O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do" Daniel 9:19.

Lesson #9- The 2300 Days and the Cleansing of the sanctuary
AdventAI
The 2300 days is the longest and most wonderful timeline in the whole Bible, and it tells us exactly when Jesus began His very last work as our Great High Priest in Heaven. This special time period is like a giant map that starts in the year 457 B.C. and leads us all the way to the autumn of 1844.
A Long Journey Through Time
To understand this big number, we have to remember God’s special rule for prophetic time: one "day" in a vision equals one real "year" in history Numbers 14:34Ezekiel 4:6. This long journey of 2300 years began with a command from a king named Artaxerxes to fix and rebuild the city of Jerusalem. God cut off a smaller piece of this time—490 years—just for the Jewish people to get ready for Jesus to come the first time. After those 490 years were finished in A.D. 34, there were still 1810 years left to go. When you add those years up, they land perfectly on October 22, 1844.
What is the Sanctuary?
A long time ago, God asked His people to build a beautiful tent called a sanctuary so He could live right among them Exodus 25:8. This earthly sanctuary was a "shadow" or a "pattern," which means it was a small model of the real, giant Sanctuary that is up in Heaven right now. In the earthly model, there were two rooms: the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place Hebrews 9:2-3. Every day, the priests worked in the first room, but once a year, on a very special day called the Day of Atonement, the high priest went into the second room to "cleanse" the sanctuary.
The Great Cleaning Day in Heaven
In the same way, Jesus ministered in the first room of the Heaven Sanctuary after He went back to Heaven, but at the end of the 2300 days in 1844, He moved into the Most Holy Place. The "cleansing of the sanctuary" is another name for the investigative judgment. It is a time when Jesus looks at the record books of our lives to wash away the sins of everyone who truly loves Him and has asked for His help. This is the "finishing of the mystery of God," where Jesus finishes His work as a helper so He can come back to earth as our King.
Getting Our Hearts Ready
While Jesus is doing this big cleaning job in the Heavenly Sanctuary, we can do a little cleaning job in our own hearts. It is like getting ready for a very special party where we want everything to be perfect. We can talk to Jesus and say, "Please help me be kind and honest today," and He will give us His beautiful "wedding garment" of character to wear.
Why This is Good News
Even though the people who lived in 1844 were sad at first because they thought Jesus was coming to earth that day, they soon realized the prophecy was still true!. Jesus didn't come to earth yet, but He did move to the Most Holy Place to start the very last part of His work for us. We can be happy because we know exactly where Jesus is and what He is doing to get our home in Heaven ready for us John 14:2-3.
Just like the high priest came out of the sanctuary to bless the people long ago, Jesus will soon finish His work and come out of the Heavenly Sanctuary to take us home forever Hebrews 9:28. When we stay close to Him, we can watch the "clock" of the 2300 days and know that His coming is very, very near. Daniel 8:14.

Lesson 10- The Political Events In Daniel 11 Fulfilled.
AdventAI
1 Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
2 And now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
9 So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.
10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.
11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
12 And when he has taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.
13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.
14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of your people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
16 But he that comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
18 After this shall he turn his face to the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn on him.
19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflowed from before him, and shall be broken; yes, also the prince of the covenant.
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
24 He shall enter peaceably even on the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yes, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
26 Yes, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
27 And both of these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help: but many shall join to them with flatteries.
35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also on the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
AdventAI
Daniel 11 is like a giant history book written before the events even happened, showing us that God knows exactly what will happen with the kings and nations of our world. It starts with the kings of Persia and follows a long chain of events all the way to the very end of time when Jesus comes back to save His people Daniel 11:1-45.
The Kings of Persia and the Rise of Grecia
The angel Gabriel told Daniel that after the king who was ruling then, three more kings would stand up in Persia, and then a fourth king would be much richer than all of them Daniel 11:2. This fourth king was Xerxes, and he used all his money and power to start a giant war against the land of Grecia Daniel 11:2. After this, a "mighty king" stood up, who was Alexander the Great from Grecia, but just when he was strongest, his big kingdom was broken and split into four parts toward the four winds of heaven Daniel 11:3-4. These four parts were ruled by his four generals, and they are called the kings of the North and the South in the rest of the story Daniel 11:5.
Rome Enters the Scene
As the story continues, it talks about "the robbers of thy people" who would exalt themselves to "establish the vision" Daniel 11:14. These "robbers" were the Romans, and they are the main subject of Daniel’s visions because they would rule for a very long time. The prophecy shows how Rome would become very powerful and eventually destroy the city of Jerusalem and the sanctuary Daniel 11:26, 31. This power would even "stand up against the Prince of princes," which means the Roman government was the one in power when Jesus was treated unkindly on the cross Daniel 8:25.
The Power That Changes God’s Law
In the later part of the chapter, we see a power that "does according to his will" and exalts himself above every god Daniel 11:36. This describes the Papacy, which arose after the Roman Empire was divided into ten parts Daniel 7:24-25. This power would speak "marvellous things against the God of gods" and would try to change God’s special laws and times Daniel 7:25Daniel 11:36. History shows that this power ruled for 1260 long years, from the year 538 until 1798, just as the prophecy said it would.
The Time of the End and the Great Deliverance
The very last part of Daniel 11 tells us about the "time of the end," when big wars and "tidings out of the east and out of the north" make the rulers of the world very troubled Daniel 11:40, 44. We are living in the time when these events are almost finished, and soon the next big thing will happen. That next event is when Michael—who is our great Prince, Jesus—stands up to save His people Daniel 12:1. When He stands up, there will be a "time of trouble" such as the world has never seen, but everyone whose name is written in God's special book will be delivered and kept safe Daniel 12:1.
Why This is Important for Us
God is in Control: Seeing how all these kings and wars happened exactly as the angel said shows us that God is the true King of the universe.
A Map of the Future: These prophecies are like a map that tells us exactly where we are on the timeline of history so we don't have to be afraid.
Jesus is Coming Soon: Because almost every part of Daniel 11 has already come true, we know that the very last part—the coming of Jesus—is "even at the doors" Matthew 24:33.
The Wise Will Understand: God promised that in the "time of the end," people who love Him and study His word will understand these deep secrets Daniel 12:10.
Just like the "stone cut out without hands" eventually fills the whole earth, Jesus’ kingdom of love will soon take the place of all these earthly kingdoms that Daniel saw Daniel 2:44-45. By staying close to Jesus and being "wise," we can be ready for the day when He stands up to take us home to live with Him forever Daniel 12:3.

Lesson 11- The Final of the prophecy and the King of the North.

The "King of the North" is a special title used in the very last part of Daniel’s prophecy to describe the power that holds the land we now call Turkey, and his story shows us exactly how close we are to the end of this world's history. This king is the final player on the big stage of history before Jesus stands up to take us home.
Who is the King of the North?
In the Bible, the "King of the North" is the power that occupies the territory once belonging to the northern part of Alexander the Great’s empire. Today, that territory is Turkey. For a long time, this power was like a "whirlwind" with many ships and horsemen, moving into different countries just as the prophecy said it would Daniel 11:40. But the Bible tells us that even though he seems strong, he will eventually "come to his end, and none shall help him" Daniel 11:45.
The Great Time of Trouble
When this king finally falls and his power comes to an end, it is a giant signal for the whole world. At that very moment, Michael—who is our wonderful Prince, Jesus—will "stand up" Daniel 12:1. When Jesus stands up, it means His work in the Heavenly Sanctuary is finished, and a "time of trouble" begins that is bigger and scarier than anything that has ever happened before Daniel 12:1. But don't be afraid! This is actually the time when God’s special people, whose names are written in the Book of Life, will be delivered and saved forever Daniel 12:1.
The Unsealing of the Secret
For a very long time, this part of Daniel’s book was "sealed up" and closed like a locked treasure chest Daniel 12:4. But God promised that when the "time of the end" arrived, the book would be opened so that "knowledge shall be increased". Since the year 1798, the book of Daniel has been unsealed, and God has been helping people understand these secrets so we can be ready for Jesus to come.
The Seven Last Plagues and the Second Advent
Before Jesus actually appears in the clouds, the "wrath of God" will begin to fall on the earth in seven last plagues Revelation 16:1-21. These plagues will start to break apart the earthly governments that have been unkind to God's people. Then, just when things seem most intense, the sky will open, and Jesus will return with power and great glory to give His friends their reward Matthew 24:30-31.
How Can We Be Ready?
Study God's Word: We should study Daniel and Revelation with great earnestness because they have a special message for us right now.
Keep God's Commandments: Those who will be ready for Jesus are described as people who "keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" Revelation 14:12.
Share the Message: We have a "last message of mercy" to give to the whole world to help others get ready for the greatest event ever seen.
Trust in Jesus: Even when the "time of trouble" comes, we can be as safe as Daniel in the lions' den because Michael stands for us Daniel 12:1.
Every day, the world is getting closer to the "fatal hour" of the King of the North, which means we are getting closer to seeing Jesus face to face. By staying close to Him and following His light, we can be among the "wise" who understand these things and shine like the stars forever and ever Daniel 12:3.

Lesson 12- The close of the of Grace and Armageddon.
AdventAI
The close of probation and the battle of Armageddon are the very last events that happen right before Jesus comes back to earth in the clouds to take us home. It is like the final countdown of a giant clock, where everyone on earth makes their very last choice about whether they will follow Jesus or not.
The Close of probation: The Final Decision
Probation is a big word that just means our "practice time" or "day of grace" where we can learn to love Jesus and ask Him to help us be good. When the "door of mercy" shuts, it means that every person has made their final choice, and Jesus says, "He that is holy, let him be holy still" Revelation 22:11.
The Finish Line: Human probation ends when Jesus finishes His work in the Heavenly Sanctuary and throws down the censer, saying, "It is done".
A Secret Moment: Just like in the days of Noah when God shut the door of the ark seven days before the rain started, people will be building, eating, and drinking, not knowing that the final decision has already been made in Heaven Matthew 24:37-39.
The Mark and the Seal: Before this time ends, God’s special friends receive a "seal" on their foreheads, which is like a special mark of protection showing they belong to Him forever Ezekiel 9:4.
The Great Time of Trouble
Once Jesus finishes His work in Heaven, He stands up, and a very difficult time begins called the "time of Jacob’s trouble" Daniel 12:1. This is a time of great sadness and testing, but God’s people don't have to be afraid because Jesus is their giant shield and defense. Even though they may feel unworthy, their sins have already been "blotted out" and forgotten by God Jeremiah 30:7.
The Battle of Armageddon
Armageddon is the very last battle between good and evil, where the "kings of the earth" and the powers of darkness join together for one final fight against God and His people Revelation 16:14-16.
A Spiritual War: It isn't just a military battle with tanks and planes; it is a conflict where the whole world chooses sides—one side follows the "prince of darkness," and the other follows the "King of kings".
The Seven Last Plagues: During this time, the "seven last plagues" begin to fall on those who chose not to follow God, showing that the earth is no longer safe under the rule of sin Revelation 15:1.
Jesus to the Rescue: Just when things look most scary for God's friends, Jesus appears in the clouds of heaven with all His shining angels to rescue them and win the victory forever Revelation 19:14-15.
How to Be a Victor
We can be "conquerors" in this final conflict by staying close to Jesus every single day.
Die Daily to Self: This means we ask Jesus every morning to help us be kind instead of selfish 1 Corinthians 15:31.
Wear the Whole Armor: We can use the promises of the Bible as a shield to keep us safe from the "fiery arrows" of the enemy Ephesians 6:11-17.
Work While it is Day: While the door of grace is still open, we should help as many people as we can to learn about Jesus’ love John 9:4.
Even though these final events sound big and serious, we can be happy and full of peace! God is full of mercy, and He will give us a "crown of victory" at the end of the warfare if we just keep trusting Him 2 Timothy 4:8. Jesus is our Best Friend, and He is getting everything ready to take us to a beautiful new earth where there will be no more fighting or sadness forever Revelation 21:1-4.
